Part-145 Safety Specialist

To support its expansion, Xfly is looking for Part-145 Safety Specialist to assist in developing and improving safety management culture and support the managing of occurrence reporting.


  • Dutifulness, punctuality, responsibility and continuity in the work.
  • Ability to cooperate.
  • Result and solution oriented way of thinking.
  • Excellent level of English, both spoken and written, in combination with strong communication skills.
  • Higher education, preferably in aviation.
  • A clean criminal record for issuance of an airside security pass.
  • Advanced computer using skills (MS Office).
  • Driving license.

Main Tasks

  • Support the continuous managing of the occurrence reporting system by accepting and evaluating incoming reports.
  • Assist in finding effective and timely resolutions to reported safety occurrences.
  • Assist in developing and improving safety management culture.
  • Support the development and improvement of maintenance related risk management.
  • Ensure the integrity of safety performance indicator data on monthly basis.
  • Provide safety communication to facilitate reporting and feedback.
  • Assist with monitoring of SMS training due dates.
  • Participate in safety action group duties.


  • At least 2 years in aviation or technical field.
  • Technical knowledge is a benefit, previous P-145 or Part-CAMO experience is considered an asset.
  • Previous safety management experience is not a requirement.
